iBiotec® DECAP STRIP VG
LIQUID VEGETABLE STRIPPER
Paints are used in 5 main fields of application:
- Decoration
- Building
- Automotive
- Industry
- Marine corrosion protection
Stripping technique (acid chemical, by pyrolysis burning, dry stripping, mechanical by sand blasting, shot blasting, bead blasting) depend on the nature of the base surfaces (paint bases), their dimensions, their accessibility and whether it is possible to remove them if necessary, and transfer them to a specialist external contractor.
Chemical stripping
Most stripper ingredients act very quickly on a wide variety of paints containing CMR (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic) substances, such as Methylene Chloride, NMP or NEP.
DECAP STRIP VG are part of the new generation of quick action strippers, based on biosourced derivatives of vegetable origin. They are therefore used for ecological chemical stripping.
DECAP STRIP VG are not classified inflammable, they are easily biodegradable, contain no PRP solvent and contribute to the reduction of VOC emission.
Usable on paints or liquid or powder coatings:
Natural siccative Alkyd resins (glycerophtalic)
Cellulose Polyesters
Rubber Phenolic (resol resins)
Vinylic Aminoplastics
Acrylic Epoxy paints
Polyurethane Polycarbamide
These stripper can also be used to remove photocatalytic "intelligent" paints and varnishes, electro-magnetic insulators, photochromes, Lotus effect water repellents, technical and specific varnishes for glazing.
